Gettin' A Little Crafty- iPhone Cover

Hey everyone!! Don't you get in that mood where you just feel really crafty and you are dying to make something pretty? Well that was me tonight, and luckily I had been planning on doing this project for a while so I planned ahead and got everything I needed.  Yay me!  Anyways, long story short I made my own one of a kind iphone cover.  And I just wanted to share it with you because it's acutally a really cheap way to cover your iphone.  I hate wanting super cute covers that cost anywhere between $10-$50 because with my ADD tendencies I get tired of a cover really fast so it adds up, luckily I figured out a way to cover my phone for a total of $1.80  Yes ladies you heard that correctly, for less than $2 I now have a super cute phone.  But enough of my babbling, let me show you how to make it!!

You will need:
    1. scissors
    2. pencil
    3. clear iphone case (I got mine for $1 on ebay)
    4. scrapbook paper or fabric of your choosing (Hobby Lobby has paper for $0.80)

Take your clear iphone case and trace its shape onto your scrapbook paper.  Now, cut out the iphone shape and place it in your case to make sure it fits, make any alterations if needed and while it's in there trace the camera hole.  Then take it out and cute your camera hole.   Now you're done!! Stick it back into the case and enjoy your one of a kind iphone!!

Here are some pictures of mine:

I went from this....

To this!!!

So anyways I'm glad I got to share a little bit of craftiness with ya'll today.  And I hope ya'll try it as well.  Later ladies!!!

  1. This is a really cute idea, as well as inexpensive & unique! I don't want a case just like everyone else's case...so this is perfect!
